Date: 2/22/2006 - "Human and Natural Influences on Climate Change: Who's Doing What?"

Public Lecture (free)
Presenter: Dr. Rick Ulrich, University of Arkansas.
Poultry Science Auditorium, 7:00 PM

There is no question that the world is getting warmer, but how much of this is due to man-made CO2 emissions and how much would be occurring anyway?  Carbon dioxide, methane and other greenhouse gases played a role in global warming and cooling long before people began burning fossil fuels.  In this presentation, we’ll explore what is known about the extent and timing of natural climate changes before humans began to modify the environment.
